The Honourable Caroline Mulroney continues to work with the trucking industry to assist carriers in every part of the province. “The Government of Ontario is listening to the concerns of our sector. We appreciate the opportunity to host the Minister and highlight not only issues in our sector, but those that matter most to businesses that we serve in Northern Ontario. By working together and eliminating red tape in government programs, we can make the trucking industry in Northern Ontario safer, greener, and more efficient which bodes well for the future of all Northern Ontario communities,“ added King.
Also in attendance at the meeting were David Carruth, Chair, OTA; Stephen Laskowski, President, OTA; Geoff Wood, Senior VP, OTA; and, Geoff Walker, Vice President, Grant’s Transport.
“On behalf of OTA, I would like to thank Minister Mulroney for showing a keen interest in our sector. Together we are going to make a great industry even better,” said David Carruth, OTA, Chairman.
